Swaziland, Africa (August 7-18, 2010)
We are traveling to Swaziland, Africa to work with Children's HopeChest. Swaziland has the highest rate of HIV infection rate in the world, and we will be working with AIDS orphans at a carepoint center there. We have about 175 children who come to the carepoint. The children walk at least 3 miles to get to the carepoint center. The children range in age from infants to 16 or 17 year olds! A carepoint is a plot of land where the children can come to get food, protection, Bible study, and medical care.
We will be hosting a medical clinic, and a VBS while we are there.
A passport is required for this trip and should be aquired as soon as possible.
