The One Mission Celebration (OMC) is an annual event at Westwood. The OMC is designed to encourage our entire congregation with a global vision and challenge every member to live on mission. The OMC is a great way to bring the world of missions to our people. While we should focus on global missions all year long, the OMC becomes a "hub" for our church's global missions involvement. We expect the OMC to be the most exciting week in our church’s yearly calendar. This time of celebration will be a catalyst for missions prayer, giving, and going – both short and long term.
"that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." John 17:21-23
Westwood's goal is to reach 100,000 people and plant 1,000 churches by 2020. How do we get there?
