Classes to help you Grow, Group & Go. We’ll start with an Intro Night on August 29 in the Alabaster Campus Worship Center.  You’ll have a chance to hear each leader describe the class so that you’ll know which one is for you.  Classes will start on September 5 and most groups will be offered from 6:30 to 7:30pm. You can find details about our Summer Class here.

GROW Track
We are told in Hebrews 2:1 to “pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.” One of the primary goals of Grow Wednesdays is to help believers grow deeper in their walk with Christ by having deeper insight into the Word. To help facilitate this, we are offering a 3 year track that will take people through an overview of the Bible all the way to having a deeper understanding of Biblical Doctrine. Encompassed in this track are 6 classes that begin with entry-level classes and end with advanced Bible studies.

It is not a requirement to attend these classes in any particular order. Anyone is welcome to sign up for any class as they feel led by the Spirit of God. The goal of showing the order above is to help individuals sign up for the right class to fit them where they are in their walk.

In addition, depending on teacher availability, we will offer advanced studies on books of the Bible or on Theological topics as well. When they are available, they will be displayed on the Grow Wednesday website.

If you have questions in general about the Grow classes, please contact Andrew Wilkerson at andrewwilkerson@yahoo.com. For information specific to each class, contact the teacher/facilitator listed under each class.

GROUP Track

The Word says in Proverbs 3:4 – 5 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.” Another primary goal of Grow Wednesdays is to help equip families and individuals to face issues, struggles, and everyday circumstances by providing Biblically based practical wisdom as to how to go about living our lives Biblically in the culture around us. The classes in the Group category of the Grow Wednesdays are designed to do just that. They are broken up into classes based on life stages, circumstances, struggles, etc. They are designed to bring people together that want to grow in the same areas and equip them to grow together.

If you have questions in general about the Grow classes, please contact Andrew Wilkerson at andrewwilkerson@yahoo.com. For information specific to each class, contact the teacher/facilitator listed under each class.

GO  Track

We are commanded in Matthew 28:20 to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations”. Jesus tells us in Acts 1:8 that we are to “be [His] witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth”. The primary goal of the Go classes is to equip the church to do just that. The classes are designed to help us grow to be effective witnesses to our friends, neighbors, and families (Judea), engage the lost in various local missions (Samaria), and to the over 2 billion people world wide who have never even heard the Name of Jesus ever mentioned (ends of the earth).  The classes are not designed to teach us canned phrases or certain tracks to follow, but to take in-depth looks at how we can be intentional to engage the lost all around us and all around the world.

These classes will be offered based on teacher availability.
